In short
- We never store your Discord user ID or name next to a task answer. The two are kept apart from the start.
- Answers to some tasks may be used to train AI systems. Every task says so before you start.
- Tasks never ask for your voice, your face or free text.
- No ad trackers and no analytics cookies, in Discord or on this site.
If you verify in a Discord server
What we use
When you press Verify, Discord tells us your user ID and the server ID (you allow this once, the first time). We use them only to give you the right role. They are deleted as soon as the bot has done that, or after a few minutes if you do not finish.
Your answer to the task, how long it took and whether it passed are stored without your user ID or name. The numbers the server owner sees (how many people passed, failed or were held) are counts only.
What the bot remembers
To run the features the server owner switched on, the bot keeps a small file on our server, per Discord server: when you last verified (so the Verified role can expire), when you last used "Ask a moderator" (one appeal a day), and for members the server has banned, their user ID, names and profile picture, to spot the same person joining with a new account. This file is never joined with task answers.
Why
To protect the server from raids, spam bots and scam links (the server owner's and our legitimate interest), and to produce anonymous labels that we may sell or license as AI training data.
If you contact us
When you use the Start a free pilot form or the chat button, we store what you send: your name, company, work email, what you want labelled, the languages, the pilot size, any link to your items, the rough volume and your message. Items you send for a pilot stay yours: we use them only for your pilot and never reuse or resell them. We use it only to reply and to talk to you about working together. We delete it when it is no longer needed for that, or sooner if you ask.
Where data is kept
On our own server in the European Union, with an encrypted backup of the database in the EU (Frankfurt). We do not sell personal data. The only data we sell or license is task answers, which carry no identity.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Because answers are stored without any identity, we cannot find or remove a single person's answers after the fact. You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.
